Instructions:

Stove Top:

  • Mix together the garlic, hoisin sauce, passata and water
  • Spray a frying pan over a medium high heat with cooking oil spray.
  • Add the chicken and frying until lightly golden on all sides. Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Remove from pan and set aside.
  • Add the sauce and bring to a boil, so that it reduces and thickens slightly. 
  • Add back in the chicken pieces and toss until nicely coated in the sauce and cooked through.
  • Sprinkle with chopped spring onions and your choice of sides.

Actifry:

  • Mix together the garlic, hoisin sauce, passata and water
  • Spray the pan of the actifry with cooking oil spray.
  • Add the chicken pieces and cook in the actifry for 8 mins until lightly golden, season with salt and black pepper and remove and set aside.
  • Add the sauce ingredients to the actifry and cook for 3 mins.
  • Add back in the chicken and cook for an additional 3 mins until cooked through.
  • Sprinkle with chopped spring onions and your choice of sides.
