Smore's Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

  • 40g (1.5 oz) of oats
  • ½ cup (120ml) of fat free vanilla yoghurt (not Greek)
  • ½ tsp of pure vanilla extract
  • ¾ tbs of
  • 1/2 level tbs (2.5g) of unsweetened cocoa powder - 0.5 syns
  • 1 low syn cookie - 1.5 syns
  • 10g (0.5oz) of mini marshmallows - 2 syns
  • 4g  (0.14oz) of chocolate chips - 1 syn

Instructions:

  • Add the oats to a bowl, stir in the vanilla yoghurt, vanilla extract, cocoa powder and sukrin:1 (if mixture still seems a little thick, add a little more yoghurt)
  • Place half the mixture in a glass
  • Add half the marshmallows
  • Top with the other half a mixture
  • Then add the rest of the marshmallows, the chocolate chips and crumble the biscuit on the very top.
  • Place in the fridge and it will be ready for you to dig in a spoon and enjoy the next day. 

Notes:

  • Syn value of some of the items in this recipe can vary from brand to brand, so ensure you double check the ones you use. 
  • Syn value of cocoa powder can vary from brand to brand. The three brands I use are 100% cocoa powder (not Dutch Processed) and are 1 tbs for 20 calories (1 syn).
