Malbi Chicken

Some time ago I tried cooking Malbi Hati Sapi .I was at home at all. it tastes really good .like stews, but thicker and smells of spices . so even though this dish is originally from Palembang .but it fits with our Javanese tongue. Finally yesterday thought want to try if the chicken cooked in malbi seasoning is good, bro .it turns out it's just as tasty. Recipe is almost the same as beef malbi .it is sweet .I just adjust it to the amount of chicken I cook . and I remove the grated coconut .the fear is too good it feels like for chicken. Be tasty and thick chicken malbi, the spices soak into the chicken .how delicious it feels.

Malbi beef originally uses mutton, or beef . but it is applied to chicken, it is also delicious. I just used ordinary chicken yesterday . that is, the wings are easy to soften and soak in the marinade. It feels good . what's more if you use free-range chickens or males . maybe even better. This Malbi is suitable for serving with yellow rice . savory rice, etc. If in Palembang, he said, he is usually served with oil rice, yellow rice, but more like taste like kebuli rice. Material :
  • 500 grams of chicken wings
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg powder
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 cm cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt / beef broth to taste if you like.
  • 800 ml of water
  • Fried onions to taste for sprinkles
Ground spices:
  • 6 onion grains
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper granules
  • 2 cm ginger
  • 5 pecan, roasted
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
How to make :
  • Heat the oil to taste.
  • Saute the spices, stir-fry until cooked.
  • Add the chicken, stir until it changes color. Add water, nutmeg powder, cloves, cinnamon, sweet soy sauce, and salt. Cook the sauce thickens and the spices soak.
